The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

So yesterday, as was my plan for quite a while, I went to see The Hobbit movie marathon. The showings started at 1pm and didn’t end until around 9-9:30pm so needless to say my but was numb from sitting so long, but boy oh boy was it worth the wait.

The third movie is unquestionably my favorite, but I won’t spoil anything here just in case you haven’t seen it yet, because I’m not an evil person.

One of the coolest parts of it was that before the third movie began, Peter Jackson (director) gave this little intro to the movie, which was super cool because it was unique from the rest of them (I believe). He pointed out that we, the people in the movie theater, are some of the first people in the world to see all three movies, therefore the entire Hobbit collection, in sequence, which added that extra bit of awesomeness.

I would highly recommend this movie to any fan, or anybody that wants to experience the great story of Bilbo Baggins, and the exciting prelude to the Lord of the Rings series.
